Because as long as that doesn’t happen, Jesus will not come back to take us home. His return will take place once the Gospel reaches every person on Earth. (Matthew 24:14)
By the way, How are we doing mission wise?
Well, not so good. In 1863, when the Adventist church was established, there were 3,500 Adventists and the world had 1.3 billion people to reach with the Three Angels messages. Now we are 24 million Adventists, but the world population has grown much quicky. There are now 8 billion people on the planet.
I've heard that everyday more than 1,000 people join the Adventist faith. Is that right?
Yes, but almost 400,000 babies are born every single day. At the end, our 24 million Adventists barely represent 0.3% of the world population.
I notice that this chart is the same kind used above to talk about the outstanding results in Cananea. Is there a reason for that?
Yes. What happens is that the church current situation is very similar to what was Cananea before we started sharing the Three Angels’ messages there.
In other words, we can hasten the return of our Lord, right?
Yes, just as 2 Pe. 3:12 states it.
In other words, we can make a difference, correct?
We cannot only make a difference, we must. It’s all about allowing God to restore His image in us.
